About ScoreACut

ScoreACut is the AI voice agent and chair-management app for barbers and stylists. Our AI receptionist answers your shop line on a real local phone number, gives quotes, books appointments onto your calendar, and texts confirmations to your customers. The ScoreACut iOS app is the chair and admin tool for the shop owner and barbers. A ScoreACut subscription is required to use the app — sign up at scoreacut.com.

Getting started

  1. Subscribe at scoreacut.com. After payment, you'll receive a welcome email with your portal login and a dedicated local phone number for your shop.
  2. Connect Google Calendar from the portal so the AI can book appointments directly onto your schedule.
  3. Optional — connect Stripe or Square to take deposits when appointments confirm.
  4. Install the ScoreACut iOS app and sign in with the same email you used at signup. Calls, messages, and bookings flow into the app in real time.

App features

Calls

Inbound calls to your ScoreACut number are answered by the AI agent. The transcript and any booking that came out of the call appear in the app under Inbox and Today. You can also place outbound calls from your business number directly from the app's contact and conversation screens.

Chairs & appointments

Every confirmed appointment appears on the in-app chair grid with barber, deposit status, and customer notes. Tap any appointment to edit, cancel, or send the customer a follow-up SMS.

Quotes

Use the in-app Quote tab to generate a quote on the fly — same engine the AI uses on calls. You can save the quote as a service or text it to a contact.

Notifications

The app uses push notifications for new appointments, missed calls, and inbound calls (CallKit ring). Allow notifications when prompted on first launch. You can adjust which notifications are enabled under Settings → Notifications.

Subscription & billing

How am I billed?

ScoreACut is billed monthly via Stripe. Your invoice is emailed to the address on file, and you can manage payment method, view invoices, and cancel from the customer portal link in any invoice email.

How do I cancel?

You can cancel your subscription from the in-app Settings → Subscription screen, or by emailing support@scoreacut.com. After cancellation, your account enters a 30-day soft-delete window during which it's recoverable by support; after 30 days, all data is permanently deleted (see our Privacy Policy for details).

Do you offer refunds?

Refund requests are evaluated case by case. Email support@scoreacut.com with your account email and the reason for the request.

Privacy & data

Inbound call recordings and transcripts are retained for up to 12 months. We never sell or share your data, and we do not use your data to train AI models. For full details see our Privacy Policy.

Reporting a bug or requesting a feature

Email support@scoreacut.com with a short description and, if possible, a screenshot or screen recording. Please include your phone model and iOS version so we can reproduce the issue.
